Next image: The Cholla cactus seem to struggle a bit in my part of the Mohave Desert. This is definitely one of the larger versions I’ve ever found. Still didn’t get to close and they are very prickly. They are slightly different variety than what you’d find in Joshua Tree or Arizona. But fun to anyway. I love how they just hold onto the light. Also a pretty cool winter sunset with the soft clouds drifting by. @canonusa EOS R5 and the RF 15-35. f/2.8 on a @reallyrightstuff tripod
Previous image: I visited Lake Louise, near Banff when I was a kid and I had vague memories of it. So I was excited to return a couple of years ago on a winter tour with @noelcasajephotography and @edwinmartinez of Wide Horizon Photo tours. We arrived at Lake Louise for a sunrise shoot in a snow storm. Loved the moody tones there were left after the storm clouds started to drift away. And yeah I got in the lake for this shot!
